The grid is five by five. Every gem uncovered raises the multiplier, and the player can bank it at any point or flip another tile. A mine ends the round and takes the stake.
What makes a round is the setting taken before it starts. The player chooses how many mines go into the grid, from one to twenty-four. One mine is a long, shallow climb with twenty-four safe tiles under it. Twenty-four mines is a single decision resolved in one click.
One mine or twenty-four — the same game covers both, which is why it needs no risk setting on top.
The running figures are on screen throughout: what the next tile is worth and what the round has made so far, so the decision to stop is made against numbers rather than nerve. If a tile would take the win past the round's maximum, the game cashes the player out before it is turned.
