The wheel has 37 pockets: 0 and the numbers 1 to 36. Chips go on any mix of straight-up numbers, dozens, columns, red or black, odd or even, low or high, and a single spin settles all of them together. A straight-up number pays 36×, a dozen or a column pays 3×, and the even-chance fields pay 2×.
Zero belongs to nothing. It is not in a dozen, a column, a colour, a parity or a half, and it wins only for a chip placed directly on that pocket. That single pocket is the house edge in physical form, and it is also why the table's return is what it is.
The return is set by the wheel, not by a configuration file.
36 paid against 37 pockets is 97.3%, and it is 97.3% for every bet type on the table — the straight-up number and the even-chance field have the same expected return as each other. Unlike the originals in the catalogue, there is no version or operator setting that moves it.
